I know that a lot of people are anxious to see how Rasha is progressing. I was hoping to have her done yesterday, but I've been working outside from life with my Arab mare, Melody. It is below freezing which makes it down right difficult to sculpt. Hence I have been slowed down somewhat. Also, I made a lot of structural changes to her the past few days which overlayed some of the already finished parts of the sculpture. Because of this, I am having to redo most of the surface of the piece. What I have to finish at this point is some fine sanding and most of the details like veining, wrinkles and hair bumps. I will be doing this throughout the rest of the night and hope to have finished photos of her tomorrow morning when the order form becomes active. I've actually packed months worth of work in just a few short days which makes me think I am back in college cramming for finals! LOL! The end result is what counts and tomorrow she will look even better. Because of the angle she is cantering forward on, some of the photos will appear distorted. Camera foreshortening is one of the most difficult aspects to work around when photographing artwork. Please feel free to comment on any of these new photos.
